Weight reduction... I remember a mag where thats all they did to a car...

first they ran it stock, then without the interior..... then without some of the glass and body parts... eventually the guy was sitting on a crate, the body was gone and it was just basicly the bare min to allow it to drive... frame, engine and drivetrain, steering wheel... crate to sit on, helmet and goggles.
It made something like 3 seconds of difference....even though it was a bit radical

I got the rear end pretty much the way I want it 12 bolt locker and 4.10s as far as weight reduction goes its not exactly light its not exactly a real racer either kinda building a cruiser with a little show and go. So Im keeping the comfort level on the upside with full interior and full on steel body.

Yeah nitrous is cool my father inlaw has a 250hp shot in his olds it runs like a raped date. I dont know much about nitrous I would probably end up with a melt down within 10 minutes of opening the bottle. I was kind of trying to stay away from it but just out of curriosity how much nitrous can you throw at lets say a stock sbc and be in the somewhat safe zone? My motor is fresh but its not built for nitrous.

100hp safely, 150 max. I've done more than that, but I wouldn't recommend it. Just my .02

My brother knows a guy that stole a tunnel ram and carbs off of a boat that was in a guys garage. He snuck in got under the boat cover and un bolted it all while the guy was out working in his garage on another project. Not to mention tons of other stuff I have heard about him stealing I hope he doesnt know where I live I work hard for junk I play with.

yeah, there's some theives and rats in oden too. know the best way to get rid of a rat? plant a little rat poision... they'll steal it and it's not your fault... they cant blame it on you cause the rat stole your poision... if you catch my drift...
