I finally got my luv started, and theres a terrible knocking in it. So I adjusted all my valves and got all of em worked to where they were supposed to be, yet the problemo persists. I assume its my third piston (its not a luv piston, don't know what its off of, owner gave me this one instead, don't know why). Nonetheless, I'm kinda pissed off, I mean, it took quite a while to do everything that needed to be done, I'm just hoping I can hoist it up enough still attatched to the trans to get the oil pan off and get to the piston to get er out and put another one in.



Anyone else have any ideas on what it could be?

Check the timing - make sure that the #1 and #4 is in the right place as well as the #2 & #3

I had the problem when I switched #2 and #3 by accident.
