Just joined! I have a 79 chevy luv. sbc 350 vortec heads weiend intake 600 holley th350 tranny! I need some advice on choosing a good rearend for my truck. Also I would like to know the gear that is in my truck now it really low but holds up ok with all the power!lol my email is bboutwell0106@mscc.edu

sounds like you have a good set up so far but you will find out the rear end and gears the people on this site will help out with any thing you need

Welcome. Do you think you still have the stock rear end?
S10 rears work ok, but most people go with a narrowed Ford 9 inch posi. Or a narrowed Chevy 12 bolt posi.

thanks It is the stock rearend I think I will try a s-10 rearend for now!
