 Post subject: DRIVESHAFT BOLTS

Location: LANCASTR CA.
Does anyone know what size the bolts are that mount the driveshaft to the rear end. My driveshaft fell out and took the bolts with it.
I can't find a reference whether the bolts are standard or metric and what size and length they are.

Sorry to hear about your problem, I just came through a similar one. The bolt sizing issues surrounding the LUV seem to be a dark mystery, but you can be sure they are metric. I think there is master parts and drawings list posted in the info section of this website. Maybe that will lead you in the right direction.

i want to say they are 5/16 in size and about an 1" to 1 1/2"long you don't have to use metric.i went to lowe's and bought standard thread grade 8 bolts,washers,nuts they work just fine. :D
