You can do anything. What are you wanting...a V8 or V6 conversion? Lots of guys putting 350s in Luvs and I even saw a blown 406 in a Toyota xcab once. Depends on how much work and power you want. Pups are pretty light so if just a mild street rod then 350 would be great out of the box. Check out some of the threads on the site and ask questions plenty of help here.

What's wrong with the 1.9? Head gasket? :x If you do a swap & wanna get rid of it shoot me a PM. Check the Drivetrain Upgrades for some ideas.

well the engine need some work,was told by a guy I had checking it out that it needed new ring's ,clearance gap was 0.47 to 0.50 and the limit is 0.09 to 0.13 and need over seize piston. i'm not sure if this is right and if so what the best way to go about this or rebuilt it what would be the cost?
