Have a chance to buy 2 4x4 trucks. Both run. Drive trains good. One body is very rough but has a better motor.
The best one has good doors, body very straight, excellent bed, bad floorboards in cab. Fenders not too bad at all but rockers 5 out of 10 range. All electrical works and was licensed and was being driven not long ago. new timing chain.
All glass good and totally original. Interior usual bad stuff.
He wants 1,200 for the pair but really I don't think they are worth that much. What do you all think.
One is within 10 miles the other is 2 hours.

$600 for the two of them, you'll do the traveling to fetch them. $ 800 at the most. But that's without seeing pics. Just reading your post.

That's what I thought. I offered him 650 for the pair and said no at first. Now he said he would take 750 for them.
Will have to decide. The one is runable now but sure hate the thought of doing the floor and rockers.
Would like to get the closest one for 400. If I decide to get both I will have lots of parts to sell I assume.

so, what happened?

Didn't get either one. He would take 650 for the one but with the cabe really rusted through the floors and the motor weak I decided to wait it out and see what he would do. No more word from him.

Call him up around the holidays and offer him 450 for both and I'll bet he bites at it if he still has them...lol
