so ive got this rotary engine, and i need to figure out how im going to get it to run in the pup using some of the stock wiring.

is there anyone on here that knows anything about early 80s rx7s?

this engine didnt come with any coils or ignitors, so i really dont know what im looking for as for parts.

thanks

it takes two coils, I've had good luck with aftermarket ones in the past like msd and also the accel super stocks

so how would i go about making the 2 coils and mazda ignition work in the isuzu?

i was reading about how the low set of plugs are the primary spark, then the upper set were basically just a cleanup plug. theres guys that use an MSD box on the first set of plugs, but leave the secondaries stock.

i have an MSD system already setup in the pup as of now. how could i get that to work for the primary set of plugs?

I never used a msd so i couldn't tell you,my best advise is to buy a chilton book for a rx7 to get the wiring diagram you need,it's been too long for me to remember off the top of my head.also the top plugs are the leading plugs they fire first
