I was looking thru my 81-86 pup parts catalog and noticed that a lot of parts look the same as used in 72-80 LUV's. Is any one interested in making a list of known interchangeable parts?

I'll get the ball rolling then, here are some parts outer 81-? Luv/PUps that can be used in 72-80 LUV's.

Front hubs/ disks
Rear axels/ diff centre/ diff housing
4wd front diffs/ housings
Window winder handles
Gas engines/ transmissions
Steering box manual& power assist. (some mods needed)

Im sure theres many more, chime in if you know some or disagree.

rotors and calipers from a 81 up truck will work on a luv?!

id love to have vented rotors on the luv.

Not to sure on the vented rotors fitment, but the solid rotors are the same. Maybe if you use the 81 vented rotor/hub/caliper and spindle as whole unit it will work in pre 81.
