I've got a stock '79, doing the V8 swap. I want to upgrade the brakes. What's the easiest way to go about this? Is there some sort of conversion kit that won't require a bunch of fab? Hell, do I really need to upgrade the brakes or will the stock ones work with the heavier engine and faster speeds?

Stock brakes will work for your conversion . Most people upgrade for lug pattern change .
