 Post subject: my $1500 budget

So my budget on my LUV is $1500 for performance upgrades, what are the most logical upgrades I should make? Please be detailed I'm new with cars and need to know exactly what parts to get and what they do! It's a completely stock v6 3.8L 79 Buick engine on my 76 Luv. New spark plugs and that's about it. Ask me any questions if you need to know something else about it. Thanks in advance!!!!

I'll pass smog after my rebuild kit for the carb. And I'm pretty sure the lights work havent had anyone stay behind me to see if a tail lights out, that's it

You might want to PM ctmandu, he's put together a pretty awesome rig on the cheap...(and not so cheap, that dash came from Oz!)

Search threads here for performance upgrades, ask lots of questions, look through the classifieds here and your local craigslist for good deals on parts.
