I thought of that. The problem with that is that the pie cut will not give me enough  I need to cut the upper control arm ball joint section out and reweld that section 3/4" higher on the frame facing side and leave the spindle side connected to just allow it to pivot while still keeping the ball joint location pretty close.

Good news. Problem solved I reworked the upper control and made new upper balljoint mounting locations and modifyed the bump stop brackets and frame along with the lower control arm strut arms. Damn if it didn't lay the frame on the ground! the truck looks great!! cant wait till the aerospace kit comes in for the front conversion.

Is your lower balljoint binding? On mine I cut out the bumpstop bracket and tried to get it to lay out but the lower control arm is about 1/2'' from the frame. Both my upper and lower baljoints bind and hold the frame 1'' off the ground. Do you have any pics of how you did that?

Your's is having the same problem that mine had! I do have pictures of all the work. It will lay the crossmember and the front strut braces on the ground. Let me get home tonight and take some more pictures of how I cut the lower bumpstop brackets and how I made the upper control arms and modified the frame sections.
