ok i got a guy that will supply a 9" big bearing housing, cut to my dimension and weld on ends for 100 plus 35.00 shipping. what is the widest i can go on width of the rear end to get a deeper 5 inch backspacing and a shallow dish 2 too 3 inch with a 15x8 rim without it hanging out. stock is 53 axle flange to axle flange and what stud pattern is the best to use 5x4 1/2 or 5x4 3/4 ?

Your best bet on the rear end width is to get the wheels you are going to use, set them in place, and get the measurement you need. As far as the lug pattern, the 4 & 3/4 is more common, but if you are going to convert the front to 5 lugs, I'd make them the same. The Toyota conversion would be 4 & 1/2. It's also slightly easier to redrill to 4 & 1/2 if you can find someone to do it. I believe the aerospace kit will come with either, your choice, but I could be wrong.
