The 383 is no more... It threw a rod...nice sized hole in the block, ruined crank, yeah i did a good job on that one...

nascar rpm's in first... got pissed cause it didnt want to shift out.. only found out later that the vacuum hose on my turbo 400 had a split in it... actually didnt blow when i was on the throttle. got gutless then i pulled up towards my shop and it was doing about 1500 when it went... lots of bottom end carnage. I've seen two motors blow like that, matter of fact! dont understand, why did they blow at low rpm's like that? the other hadnt really been revved much...
