LOL that is too funny! I've been thinking (as a joke of course) about doing this for awhile now... only I'd have 2 coffee cans. I guess that would mean I would gain Double the horsepower!
I wonder if it matters what brand of coffee can you use?

yeah im pretty sure it gives you double horsepower according to the rice boys,, i made one myself, and i bought one of those type r stickers off ebay, to make it look official. got a lot of laughs from ppl. i think the name brand coffee cans (folgers, maxwell house, etc) give you a couple more horse power lol

Well I own a ricer and the decaf does save gas but u actually loose proformance, So I'd go with some type of espresso coffee can.

It all makes sence now, good thing I find humor is farts. But only hondas make that fart sound. The nissans and mitubishisis sound a bit meaner. I used to have a 89 dual carb honda prelude, souded like a strait piped croch rocket, but was a super fun car to rally. I scraped it cause it wouldnt pass DEQ and was a cop magnet. It also drove sweet as hell. no blind spots at all.

Don't you mean poorly installed air dam?

All those big ugly things do for most ricers is increase air drag and eat gas mileage.

Yeah...that most of them will never achieve.

But there is one consolation...they are such crappy drivers that they either lose their license and get them impounded, they wreck them from driving way faster than their ability, or blow them up from adding on way too much crap on their engines trying to squeeze too much power out of a too puny engine....all before they can be too annoying.

And in the meantime...we get to stomp all over them every time they try to race one of us guys that have built up our trucks the right way...lol

Alright enough dogging on the ricers damit. I'll put it down on a v8 or other ricers. I'll agree 90% of the ricers are slow, and don't know how to drive. Like I said before they buy knock off parts from ebay that do more harm than good. Also they dont even understand on how a combustion engine works. Its all about supporting mods. and ecu retuning. a muffler and some fancy body parts dont make a high powered ricer. I supose none of you have come accrossed a sleeper honda or nissan. they go with eather stock looking or rat roded ricers. and have nothing but nuts. Most of these "ricers" u speek of have nothing but a stock 4 banger power plant. They are quick for stock cars but not super quick. and as for spoilers. I don't have one, but my last ricer did and it did work. it would seriously suck my ass down and make it stick in high speed turns. Just FYI.
If they say they have a racing chip just means they tricked their cars MAF senser into thinking the air is 60* and overfuels their tank. so just laugh at them and mabey explain the type of dammage this can do. If it only cost 5 dollars and supposably gives u up to 20 hp, Doesn't make sence to me why somone would but a 5 dollar proformance part in a new car?

You guys with built V8s are awsome, but Dont underestimate my 4 banger.
Soon as I build a turbo 6g63 and chop the frame of a eclipse gsx to length of a lancer I'm going to have an AWD EVO 8 and only pay insurance for a OZ Rally. with the new cam in the current engine, I broke the tires loose at 50 mph 2 gear at 5000 rpm on dry pavment, shifted 3rd at 5500 rpm and devistated a fake ricer.

Yo jinxie, now I'm confused.

It's ok for you to beat up on wannabe ricers, but the rest of us can't?

In case you haven't noticed...most of us here don't like anything besides Luv's....hence the name of this site is"Luvtruck.com", not "We love fords.com, I love ricers.com, I drive a studebaker only in reverse.com, or anything else.

We don't go to ricer lover sites and bad mouth them there ...so what's the problem with us voicing our opinions about wannabe ricers here?

Geez dude...take a valium.

I went to cruise night at the City of Santa Paula last night. There were no ricers in the mix of 100 + cars. I did find one on the way home, he and his turbo Honda got a great look at my rear bumper and the LUVTruck.com sticker on my rear window. To me they were a bunch of posers, none at the park and talk, just waiting till we all left. A pro street 55 Bel Air with a big ass huffer ate up a WRX and a EVO in one pass. Chevy went 3 wins and 0 loses in 2 passes.

I'm not angry at all. I love my luv the very most and its considerd a pos next to my ricer to most people. All I'm trying to say is some or these ricers are fast and powerfull, as a V8. 1000 hp out of a 4 banger package is nuts and kind of cool. But to say all ricers are pos and arnt worth the plastic (Mine is steel bodyd fyi) used to make them is bs. I did think the coffee can was funny, look at my previous posts on this subject. All im saying is not all ricers are slow, just alot of people who own them dont know the first thing about cars, for god sake alot of them run regular gas!!! But I don't really care about what every one else thinks of my ricer. I like it. I think its plenty quick fun to drive, and dosn't brake the bank on gas. Even when I do get a bad ass V8, I'll still have a ricer as my daily driver, because of gas.

I used to hate ricers as much as the next guy, but I was shown the potential they can be and havent looked back since. My ricer isn't packing 1000 hp more like 250 hp, but it does its job and wins alot of street races.
V8s usually pull away from me untill i hit about 40 and then I take off like a rocket till about 115 then my speed limiter hits and i'm done. I'm going to remove the limiter soon as i get the chance,

But Again Im not pissed, I just feel the need to try and promote ricers any chance I get. also if any one still doubts ricers find a souped 240sx on craigslist and take it for a test run. bet ull think about buying that little ricer. Think go cart.

If I were a member of any ricer site I'd also defend V8s. the only cars I don't like are fords. I was preached againced fords since birth. I drove one twice, and didn't like it. But just so you all know I'm a luver through and through. I only cruze ricer forums for info.
