Hi, just thought I would introduce myself. I am Lou I own a 1980 chevy LUV, only thing is I threw away the body and mounted a 1927 model T bucket. I welded the floor pan from the pickup body to the bucket so the hump fits like stock. I added headers and new carb, I wish I new this site before I bought a new carb, I feel like I wasted my money on the stock carb. I plan on having the head shaved and the motor bored in the next weeks, as the motor and trany leaks oil alot. I was thinking about putting a SBC in but after reading about the 4 cly, I changed my mind and will rebuild Hi pro instead. I dont know how to post a pic so if you want a pic let me know how to post it

I have 70's chevy rally wheels with 15" 50's on both front and rear. All the years of parts list goes like this- body 1927 bucket, front fenders and running boards 1923, rear fenders 1931, radiator is the LUV with a 1923 shell, windsheild is from 1918 T, roll bar is from a jeep cut up and welded to fit. I also have 12" wooffers and infinitys with 400 watts of power in the 30's model A pickup long box. oh did I say it was a T bucket roadster pickup. I put a pinto parking brake handle on the LUV E-brake cable. The dash is the LUV Dash and all gauges work. The head lights are from a 33 Model A.

So what is it registered as? I really want to see some pics of it. 8)

It reminds me of the Johnny Cash song about how he stole a Cadillac from work "one piece at a time" in his lunch box. :lol: It's a 49 50 51 52 53 54 55 56 57 58 59 automobile. It's a 60 61 62 63 64 65 66...I stole it one piece at a time, and it didn't cost me a dime. You'll know it's me when I come through your town.

Great song. Now I'll have to go dig it out.

Titled as 1927 Ford assembly, Was very easy to get titled It also has line lock and cruise control

Relatively cheap build (comparitively), reliable, & you don't have to obsess about the paint finish.
Rat Rod style = driver, not a trailer Queen. 8)
