here is a stock one but newer the lights are now molded into the fender so i guess it depends on the year of stout

There used to be one running around Olympia that was lowered and running a built 22R with an automatic transmission. It was an odd looking thing and the cab was sure small.

As my grandma used to say " It was so cramped inside you couldn't cuss a cat in there without getting fur in your teeth"...lol

If you don't buy it, please let your fellow luv truckers know where it's at. I would love to pick it up just for its uniqueness.

I bet it would look good all 4 byed out. It kinda reminds me of the old 60's Fords. I know it's a lot smaller, but size is hard to tell in that pic. It looks like it could be a full size in that pic.

It's kind of International looking too.

Hell yeah!

That would be fun to put in a tricked-out 22r/5speed combination, lower it a bit, upgrade the rear-end, and then go kick some little spoiled brat honda fartcan butts.

All of the parts wouldn't cost that much because toyota parts are common in most junkyards, and aftermarket stuff is pretty cheap and easy to find.

Put a stepside bed on it, add some nice wheels and tires, and it would be a nice looking little fun toy to play in the street with.

Geez...someone should snag this before it heads for the crusher!

Have you still got the guy's number/info so someone else can get a chance at it?

Spitalracing sent me a link to the original advertisement since he wasn't interested anymore so I don't think he'd mind if I passed it on to the rest of the group.

I was pretty fired up to get the truck when I originally saw it as well but cooler heads prevailed after looking at some more stouts online and realizing I don't have room for the projects I already have. I usually prefer to see stock or mildly modified trucks so I would hate to see this one gutted but the thought of it crushed is way worse than modified. ;-)

Anyhow, here's the contact info that I dug up from the link spitalracing sent me. Good luck getting it.

CLASSIC 1967 Toyota Stout, not running, would make good project, $200 obo. Call (360)856-1478

P.S. The last issue of Mini-truckin had one like this truck in Japan but it had a different box that really looked nice.
