My luv that I'm talking about http://forums.luvtruck.com/viewtopic.php?t=13384
Well I've been working on my luv for almost 2 years now and had big plans of dropping a SB into it along with many other toys. The project was cut short when I recently bought a 54 Ford pickup (my dream truck) and I put the luv up for sale.

In my city there is quite a few hispanics and I work in the ghetto part of town and knew I could sell my truck quickly. But I didn't want to do that, I parked it for sale at my house which is barely outside of town on the nicer side of town. I got a couple bites on the truck, but nothing serious. Then sunday morning an older man and his two sons (my age, early 20s) stopped and were inspecting the truck, top to bottom. After talking with them I found out that the old man had built his own toy, the older son has a S10 with a 350 and now the younger one is getting ready to build a toy. He started talking about dropping a chevy SB into it and tubbing the rear end and that's when I told him that I want HIM to buy my truck. I was afraid some young mexican kid would buy it, slap some wire wheels on it and I would have to see that driving around every day. I told him that I wanted him to buy it and finish what I had set out to do.

He said he would have to go home and discuss it with his wife before making a final decision and said he would get back to me on it in a couple of days. He called tonight and said that he'll be over to buy it tomorrow evening. He didn't even try to talk me down on the price at all. So I'm very excited to sell the truck to him, but I'm seriously regretting letting go of a great truck. :(

Sorry for the long post, just kinda excited and my gf is getting tired of hearing about it

thats about how i got my luv truck. i have seen the luv at the races for a few years, known the guy for a while and it always ran the same and never had a good stance to it. he came over 2 days ago to see the truck for the first time since i bought it from him and he just couldnt believe it. i did everything to it he was goin to start on but didnt have time to. made me feel good to get a project from someone and add to it.

hopefully your buyer will take care of yours in a decent way.
