well you could do somthing like this for $15 ... i paid 2 or 3 hundred for mine and the first thing i did was fix the dash this way

So do about 97 percent of the members here, sorry. Not an item you are likely to find cheap. I got mine from the Chevy dealer for $120 (brothers chevy discount) 15 years ago right before they discontinued them.

Installed properly, the vinyl/plastic caps fit and look realy nice. Have on on mine and can hardly tell it's a cap.

See them on Ebay all the time.

Heh cat is that carpet on your dash as i want to do something like that on a 4X4 that i just got ?

yep its the carpet you can get at wal-mart or autozone for the interior or exterior it is like $9.00 a roll at wal-mart
