Any one ever dechromed the front bumper. I have a straight but peeling bumper I want to take all the chrome off and paint it the same as my truck. Won't grind off.

I dechromed mine, using high pressure wand at a carwash for some. The rest I took off using a Stanley 3/4" wood chisel and some 300 sand paper to occasionaly resharpen the chisel. Once the chisel caught an edge I could peel some off kinda like tape. Took a little work, but I did manage to get it all off, then repainted using spray on bedliner.

Cool will give it a shot. Some of mine peeled off easy but have a lot to go. Want to fill in my turn signal lamp holes too.
