220 amp hobart wire welder. and i wired my shop for 220 when i started. mind you im FAR from being an electrician lol. shit quit last weekend and i waited for someone to come check it out, well i waited long enough and figured it out myself lol.

havent even worried about it yet james. there is so much backtracking and redoing with this project im killing myself lol. but its all worth it cause im teaching myself as i go. and getting lots of info and input from here to help!! so dont hold back, if you see something thats a no no tell me and i will look at it.

allmost done with fitting one fenderwell. my fkn arms are burning from metal sparks lol. i need a long sleeve shirt!!

Remember those expensive lugnuts you got, hope you got the opened ended for the rear with those studs. (dont ask how I know)Also if you havn't got your backing plates and hubs look for the setup with the lighter drums. There is about 7lbs difference in unsprung weight on each side. If you have a good machine shop around they will cut the ring off of a heavy set for you. (unless you live in the sticks) Although not sure of exactly how much that weight difference will be.

On my truck i cut the rear shackle mount off then cut the mount tube out. I then used a hole saw and cut a hole in the middle of the frame and welded the shackle mount tube in the frame rail, this was good fore at least a 2"-2 1/2" drop of the rear.If i can find my pics of this i will post them.

your axle is above the springs... why not just use some blocks?

I like the thought you put into moving the shackle tho...
Did it change your pinon angle?

I really like that pic too. Your axle is 5" narrower than mine . Are those new axles or respline ? That thing looks great . i have a question about your roll bar , looks like it's all in cab . Is that legal? I would like to do mine the same way .
