haven't posted for awhile, been busy w/other peoples trucks. Got an update on my seats, here is what they are gonna look like. It's black tweed w/hunter green tweed insert w/green piping.

the caddys look sweet i found a tailgate skin at fbi customs for my luv i am getting but what you use for tail light fillers? did you make em? That look sweet !

We'll I got my seats back from my upholster last weekend. For some reason my camera makes the green a different shade, but they look badass

About two weeks ago we tore out the Buick 231 and 350 trans and started gettin it preped for paint. Here she is in sealer

Finally today my paint came in and we are sprayin the engine tonight, heres the color :D

engine turned out great, we also painted the front pulleys and two radiator hoses. Tomorrow we are paintin the brake booster and some other little things. Here's some pics of the engine

The engine has been rebuilt, and it has a 4 barrel carb on it. I couldn't put aftermarket headers on because they hang way too low. Maybe later on a turbo, but I just wanna get her done so I can drive it!

Update of some progress, me and my dad started this mornin at 7amEST and got the s10 rearend, 4 link, axle bag brackets, shock brackets, motor mounts and some frame fillin all done by 2pmEST. Needless to say it was a long mornin :lol: Now everythin is fallin into place and she should hopefully be done w/in a month! Can't wait!

Havin the long weekend helped out the build very nicely. Got the front/rear frame painted, engine bay painted, brake booster and brake lines painted, and got the motor and trans installed. Engine bay is about 95% done, finished up early today to relax 8) Here's some pics

Bagged 79 truck looks good like the color as for headers try Downy Toyota (they are V8-V6 conversion specialist) they have shorty headers that should work on your truck.Oh and have you thought of putting a 200R4 in your truck it would give you the best of both worlds 2.84 low and a overdrive and it is a bolt in deal. 8) 8) 8)
