i really need help on the front i have no idea where to start on the front suspension for bags
these trucks have a torsion bar front suspension, just like every other import truck. All you need to do is buy Jason's torsion bar kit (
http://www.suicidedoors.com) and do some welding and cutting.
I would recomend you go here,
http://www.bagginit.com/ and read up on whats involved, these are the basics. As for specific to torsion bar suspensions head to
http://www.streetsource.com and pop into the forum and ask some questions, anyone can help. Even Greenchev and I.
Essentially you are going to need to cut out the shock tower, Almost completly. Remove the entire torsion bar portion of the suspension. Notch the frame rail so the lower control arm can pass up into it. Get a firestone 224 (2500 series) air bag and mount it on the lower control arm. Take jasons torsion kit and weld the upper bag mount to the upper portion of the cut shock tower and use the supplied gussets to brace the bag plate against the frame. Make sure you measure measure measure, your bags CANNOT touch the gussets or the spindle when the bags are inflated or deflated. that is basically it,,,a quick and dirty description for the front.
the rear is fairly simple, just take off the gas tank and throw it awayor give it to someone, get a fuel cell, measure out the length of the lower and upper four link bars and call Jason at suicide and he will fab them up for you. Mount your four link, make a crossmember to clear the driveshaft and to mount the forward portion of the four link........again quick and dirty description.
Hope that helps...now go read
