Slam it! Spray the adjuster bolts
on the torsion bars with a bunch of penetrating oil
And let it soak for a few days. Lift the front off the ground
To unload the torsion bars then back the tension off
To lower the front. In the rear, pull the overload
Spring install a 1" or 2" lowering block. If you go
With a 1" block you can retain the stock U-bolts.
If you go with the 2" block you will have to use the
U-bolts in the kit, but here's where it gets tricky.
The U-bolts in the lowering kits are a little too wide
For the Luv rearend and have to be heated and rebent
To fit. Also the pins on the blocks are just a little too
Big around and have to be filed down some to fit. Take
A Look at my truck in the projects thread under
RatRod love, it is 1" block with overload spring removed
Rolling on 16"s that should give you and idea about
Wether you want 1" or 2". Also a cheap source for wheels
Late model 6 lug Chevy truck wheels are. Bolt on and
Can usually be scored cheap. Good luck oh and BTW. Post
Pics!

At the most extreme turn possible the rim rubs the lower control arm, not the tire just
the rim. Haven't had any problems in the month that I've had this set up.

Look at stock. 6 lugs as some of the factory wheels can be had dirt cheap and look pretty good. And low, low is never enough till you digging a trench! I agree slam that truck!
