 Post subject: 81 luv 4x4 diesel lift

anyone found body lift for diesel? all ive found say will not work with d iesel motor. i was wanting 3 inch lift and cut the fenders,try and get some 33s under there.this truck was wore out 10 years ago on a ranch so im not worried bout cutin on it. any info appreciated.

Can't imagine why a diesel would be any different with regard to the body lift. Folks at IsuzuPup.com have done it. You will need to do some of the same stuff that a gasser would require--but nothing special for the diesel except maybe extend the fuel return line (not present on gassers).

thats what i thought. performance accesories seems to be the only one who makes one. but it says lift wont work with diesel motor. ill keep searching forums someone has had to lift a luv diesel.

other than that fuel return line, and maybe some glow plug wiring, i don't know of anything different.


other than the starter housing, i know the trans is 100% the same.


im thinking they couldn't find one to test there lift kit on :lol: :lol:
