just use the factory AC brackets and use a sanden 308 converted to compressor duty. and there you have it.

I think the main reason nobody ever has is because the stock 1.8 is such a dog. I think the added load of running a compressor would only make life WAY harder for an already crappy engine.

it wouldnt be hard to just convert your factory alternator to use a GM 1 wire. dual groove pulleys are easy to find for that application and it improve your charging ability.

I'm putting in that compressor for an AC swap and if you want 2 groove then you'll need a dual/triple groove for the crank and 2 for the water pump pulley as well right? But I haven't done anything about that I am just using one groove out of 2 on the AC compressor. I've got it in the belt drive system without being plugged in, no problems here. We'll see what happens when I get done and the system is charged.

I've got a York 210 for sale $100 and it's new. I'm in Oxnard. You can run it off a double alternator pulley. We did that on my friends Buick. Works awesome
