just buy a LUV cage kit from Jegs or Chassis Engineering or whoever else sells them. take it to a welder and he can figure out the rest. I'dr recommend a welder that does chassis for a living. you're more likely to get the cage installed to NHRA spec than what just any old welder would do.

The 12 pt I got from jegs is mild steel.I had to go to a chassis shop and have them bend the front down bars.Wasnt to bad to install,it helps that my younger brother is one hell of a welder/fabricator!

moly cages save a lot of weight but the material life cycles faster than mild steel. especially in a hard launching car with a trans brake and ladder bars for 4 link. the shock of launching the car stresses it. I believe you have to change it out completely every few years to keep it in cert.
