It is Saturday and still no word from the guys at the machine shop. I have no clue what the deal is unless it is weather related due to icy mountain roads.

Quote:
OK the ultimate ? Why is it so important to have 5 lugs on the front anyway other than rim matches.

My reason for converting the front to 5 lug is with a S10 spindle I can go with a larger rotor/vented and slotted, larger calipers w/ mulitipul pistons, drop spindles, easier to find parts to replace/repair, and of course larger verity of rims.

I just got them the day before yesterday. I have been working in overdrive since last week trying to make up the time I lost due to pretty much being blind due to a couple of nice chunks on metal in my eyes. Been pretty much putting in 12-18 hour days this week trying to catch up on everything. I have been neglecting everything trying to get everything straightening back out. I have to send you your plates, hotrod80 his e-brake handle, and Rick Smith his e-brake cable. I will try to get them all out soon. I am currently doing some paper work for the shop so I was able to finally sneak in a little LUV time.

Shit in the eye, Ouch. Glad to hear you are ok.

If you get around to having a couple of more made, put me down for a set.
My redrilled rotors that I had found got sold before I could get them.

Richard

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

I have taken it upon my self to get some made here in AZ. I am making an extra set that I will sell to anyone who wants them. I will not be drilling the 2" ball joint hole I dont think but the shape will be what you need and the 4 mounting bolt holes will be there.

$100 for 2 plates.

This what i like to hear is a driver who is smart enough to know that there is a problem with his ride ,checks it out, then fixes the problem before it gets worse or loose a race and still slap his fore head because he knew better. My hats of to you HotRod80 for sticking with the conversion and locating and fixing a problem when it needed fixing.

The clearencing was the hardest part for me . I don't have a air compressor so everything has to be done by hand . I only have 1- 110 volt outlet in the whole garage :( , but I enjoy working on these projects .

Okay as you all know I have been extremely busy as of late. So it is hard for me to find enough time to run to town but I think I have finally caught up with everything. Rick Smith's E-brake cable and Hotrod80's E-brake handle was sent out yesterday. Hyperwrx your plates was sent out today I will send you the track number here in a few. I actually got the 1st set of plates back from the mail that where lost, so I thought. So I have one additional set of hand made plates so I believe I will play with them and attempt adding a lock ringed lower ball joint. mytmouz I know I am extremely late with you aswell I will send you your $ as soon as I can. Again to all I am sorry but I am only human. Fulla or John if you still need the wiring for you gauges let me know I will send it along with the $ I promised to send you to help ya out.

However...Truck update.

I have all the steel, rods, and rod ends to convert the rear suspension to parallel four link and relocate the shock mounts behind the rear end. I will start cutting this weekend hopefully.

I have tons of updated pics and I will post them as soon as I have the time.

but for now I have to get back to the shop and work on a 06 mustang some young retard hasn't even put 20,000 on it and torn out the clutch, scared the flywheel with the rivets, and cracked the flywheel.
