Just got the hooker mounts installed. They fit real good! The motor and trans is just for mock-up.The real beast is going in soon.Going to have to make room for the blower lower pulley.See pics http://v8swaps.homestead.com/LUV.htmlI'll keep the LUV fans updated.

Hey 6-71
First off the mounts look good.......I have a few questions about your set up. I myself an putting a 6-71 blown sbc in a luv, which is why Im asking.Where are you going to put your radiator? Are you going to run the hooker headers for the v8 luv truck?I used a front and mid plate instead of motor mounts .Had to set the engine way back so the blower belt and pulleys would clear the radiator.Of course I cut the fiirewall and floor just a bit.Well good luck and hollar if you have any questions.

luvondope,

I notched and box the front cross member just a little to clear lower pulley.I didn't want to cut the firewall or trans tunnel. The lower brace in front of the radiator will need to be notched also. The radiator will fit just behind the grille. The radiator I'm using is for a R/E dragster,Griffin (JEG's)part# 475-225135-H.It is almost the same width as a stock LUV.

Summit sells the kits. HOK-12606 for the SB chevy mounts. HOK- 12630 for the transmission bracket that fits the TH 350 and manuals. You can save yourself a lot of hassle if you get the header kit too. HOK- 2140
