how did you hook up the factory speedo with a th350? im looking at doing a v8 in my 83 pup but im not to sure about the speedo. any help will be of use

in pee roy's truck it was about 10-15 mph faster.

thanks for the info guys! i know that my dads old th350 had some sort of gearbox that screwed right into the tranny and then the cable screwed into the gearbox. maby i could find a box that would work cuz i know that they made different ratios for the boxes

it also depends on ur differential when i had stock diff. it was like 15-20mph faster with s10 diff about 10mph faster

well then i should expect about 10 mph faster because im gettin an s10 diff.

I believe VDO carries an adjustable universal speedo. you can connect it to your GM speedo cable (you may have to get one out of a different car) and use a dial to calibrate it.
