I have a stock firewall now and by our rules where I mudd bogg you can modify the firewall with a hammer but can't cut it so here's my question, If I run a set of Powerbyace motor mts how far forward is my engine going to be going by the spark plug's over the axle? I'll be using 18" coilover's on the front straight axles and I'm trying too transfer the weight to the back at launch and I'm afraid the engine will be too for forward(Hope all this made sense).
With those adapters the engine will have just under 1" clearance to the firewall on the left head. You do need to trim down the e brake brakett on the passanger side per the instruction sheet.
On the late LUV frames 76-up, you can drill one hole in the fame mount and one in the conversion adapter on each side and move the engine back about an inch or so.
