I put my freinds wheels off his T/A up in the front and the wheel had plenty of clearance. The tires were a 60 series and they rubbed. If you used a tire with a shorter sidewall it would work. My 50 series looked like they would clear just fine. Or if you want to start dragging your cross member and collecting road reflecters you could put a 40 series on there.

I run 205/70/16 on isuzu trooper rims on my truck and there is no rubbing. The trooper rims are just the right dish.

Are all luvs 6 lug? I need to go to a 15 in. rim to mount taller tires on. A good set of 35 in boggers would do nicely. I may just get crazy and build it with deuce and a half axles, about 18 inches of lift, and a set of 44 in boggers. With the 2 1/2 ton axles, and the gear ratio of about 6.50 to 1, I may also keep the four banger just to piss people off.
