Does anyone know if ram horn exhaust manifolds will work with early 90's corvette angle plug heads? If not who makes headers that will fit in a luv with the angle plug heads?

early bowtie and 292 "turbo" heads came in angle plug right out of the factory so I would have to say yes, you can run ramhorns with angle plug. beware that there are two kinds of ramhorn manifolds. the ones that you want have a larger 2" outlet.

some but not all block huggers will also work with angle plug and they will flow a little better than the horns.

I think the hooker super comp V8 LUV headers will work and fenderwell headers would work for sure.

The Hooker Super Comp LUV V8 headers will not work with angle plug heads. The front tubes are at an angle that make it difficult, if not impossible, to get #1 and #2 plugs in or out.

As in fenderwell are you referring to the Hedman S-10 headers like Andy is running? #65855

How do they work? Did they hit any place? Torsion bar or coilover, and how come we dont have any pics of your rig? I was contemplating seeing if a set of early nova fenderwells will fit. - I need some big tubes for an angle plug motor. I want to stab my spare nova motor in my 77 in the comming winter. Did I say that??

if you're going with coil overs, depending on where your motor sits it should clear everywhere but its very close to where the top of the shock tower used to be and very close to the master cylinder (vacuum booster removed). nova fenderwells will not fit. been there tried that. somebody a while back also said V8 conversion headers for a toyota land cruiser will fit. i guess it depends on how the motor is mounted in but using the hooker conversion mounts and mounting it in to their specs, landcruiser fenderwells WILL NOT without massaging the shock tower and the firewall. the Heddmans S-10's come in 1 7/8" or 2" primary. thats a decent size tube.

I don't normally post pics of myself or cars on the net.... I don't even post pics of myself on the streetracing website that used to own. I may break tradition and post some pics of my motor and my new Pro Topline heads very shortly.

The truck I had and sold has the hooker long tubes in it with angle plug heads. The # 1 tube was cut and a piece added in to give added clearance. This was done for almost no money at all. Now those heads are the old Brodix track 1 heads. We have another truck with some top proline heads and no mods to the tubes and they clear just fine. I dont know if it is a sliglt diff angle on the plug holes or what but I know they work just fine with the new style heads.
