Its a 73 or 74 then unless the bed has been swapped onto a newer truck/frame. If the motor has the exhaust and intake on opposite sides then the 1.9 will bolt to the motor mounts and tranny, if both intake and exhaust are on the same side (left or drivers side) then no go on the direct swap. Motor mounts and tranny are different. You could weld in different mounts and swap 1.9 motor and tranny. You might need a few other parts, throttle cable/linkage, etc to make it work.
A 72 would have round tail lights under the tailgate. A 75 would have the old style motor but tail lights running up the corners of the bed like a 76-80.
