I found a guy with a machine shop here that has a great rep for work. He said he can drill my rotors but needs to see the originals. So you can only go 5 on 4 1/2 right. Any ford or chevy pattern.
Wished I had an old rotor to take him so I don't have to pull mine.
He just wants to see if the holes will work.

The 5 x 4.5 works a little better. Here is a pic of how they will look.

So you thnk these are really strong enough with being drilled so close to the other holes and metal being taken out. I suppose you evidently think so if you are running them.
Will see what happens. Gotta come up with an old rotor to take him before I drop mine.

They aren't drilled in the shank of the bolt, just part of the head. If you go the small chevy 4 x 4.75 pattern, it's worse. I've been 170mph on 'em, so I hope they hold.

Wonder what the 4 lug pattern on the fords and dodges are. Doesn't anyone make 6 lug draglites or something. I do have the 6 lug aluminum slots for a front. Guess they wouyld be lighter than the original steel or my pacers.

Weld discontinued the 6 lug frontrunners. Also, the rotor is 2 piece, and the studs I forgot to mention are the Moroso's that you tap and thread the hole to install them. So you are actually adding 5 more bolts from the opposite side to hold them together. IMO, they are actually stronger than the stockers, as you have 11 bolts holding them together instead of 6.

Or spend a little extra and get a set of front runners and have them drilled to the pattern you want. In this case, 6 stud.

Found this information about rotor redrill. Seems to be a good price but does not include shipping. They are NHRA and IHRA certified so I would trust the work and the price does not seem outragous.

http://www.moserengineering.com/Pages/Shop-Services/shopservices.html

I am looking to install a V8 with a S10 rearend and I would like to keep the 6 lug pattern on front and rear. But you could do the reverse and have the chevy pattern all around. I am going to try and find a disk brake rearend see if the trooper front disk (vented disk) will be the same size and have a cheap 4 wheel disk setup.

Moser no longer provides this service.
