 Post subject: Clutch question
PostPosted: Sat Mar 06, 2004 7:59 pm
:?: I am replacing the clutch on my 76 luv. Problem though...I did not notice how the discs came off. The plastic disc I heard can only fit one way but it seems to be able to fit both. On one side there is a smaller disc....does this face the motor or the tranny? Please point me in the right direction.

fullyluv :D

there sould be a labe of some sort that says "flywheel this side" or there is a side that has a protruding edgen with springs and weights that side faces out...

Looks like there is nothing that says flywheel...and the springs are half on one side and half on the other. There is however a side that has a small weighted disc rivited to it....so this is the side that faces the tranny??

Thanks

Ryan
