OK it is getting fuel and spark but won't stay running. Does the alternator put out a signal to keep the truck running. Anybody else have any ideas? Points are not pitted at all. Tried a different coil and it does the same thing. Has been in storage since this started. After four years I am finally getting to it! Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It was doing this before it sat. Was my daily driver. Weber carb. Running two fuel filters. Fresh fuel, new battery. Could it be the ground from the negative cable to the body? 70's G bodies I have had in the past won't start if it is bad.
