There is a large hose and a small hose on the valve cover that have vacuum into the intake that I believe are sipping oil. One of the lines is clear and I can see oil in it.

What have you guys done to stop this?

It is the normal engine ventilation system. Large hose takes filtered air into the engine, small hose takes oil/gas fumes from the engine into the intake manifold for consumption/burning. A bit of oil/vapors will be normal but a worn engine will consume much more.
