Best bet is to get hold of the head rebuilder. It should have been there, and they might have knocked it out for some reason and forgot to reinstall it.
The hose that attaches to that is the "bypass" hose, so you might find more info if you use that in your searches.
The fitting is a "FACTORY" press fit and after taking advice from a very experienced mechanic on this engine, it is almost impossible to get the fitting tight and sealed, I decided to the tap the hole to 1/2"NPT and thread a brass nipple
