As a novice to my 1978 LUV, i am attempting to rebuild my vehicle but it seems i run into small problems along the way. I put a new timing chain, cover, oil pump, alternator, carburetor, and starter, into my Isuzu 4 cylinder engine. when put back together, i have no compression in any cylinders. we know the crankshaft and camshaft turn along with the valves opening and closing. Short of having the head and valves redone, is there a way to adjust the rocker arms to so i can have compression without going through the hassle of removing the heads? all the timing marks lined up as needed and on the distributor also.
any advise would be appreciated
