Hey everybody, I'm hoping someone could help me out or give me a little advice. Just yesterday my truck has started to vibrate pretty bad. It drives nicely until about 60 km/h and begins vibrating from there...anyone have any idea whats happening?

thats a hard one to answer, as there could be many things causing it to vibrate. (most comon) wheel weight might have come off while driving around. Hmmm,,,,bent driveshaft you been 4 wheelen lately? Maybe even a broken steel belt in a tire. These are some easy ones to rule out.

Sabin i should have said something about checking your U joints on the drive shafts front and rear too. As they to can make it feel like it wants to vibrate off the road at times.

but for any of these problems shouldn't the truck be vibrating as soon as I go driving around? ...why would it start at 60 km/h?

Vibrating at high speeds usually means the tread is coming loose from a tire. Check your U-joints, then your driveshaft, then check your tires closely, if that doesn't help, try seeing if it does it with the clutch in v.s. out to eliminate clutch parts/tranny problems as the cause. my truck did that. check your driveshaft to rear end attatchment.
the bolts might be loosening.
I didn't know to check mine and it threw the driveshaft.....that was a loooong time ago though....like 12 years....

thanks guys, I'll have the truck in shop tomorrow and check all these things out.

ahhww man I"m pretty stupid. What I did was a couple of days ago I was messing around inside the cab and hit the gear shift into 4 wheel drive....so I've been driving around for 2 days in 4x4 without the hubs locked in and thats why it's vibrating.......I guess I should count myself lucky. I don't think that could do a lot of damage could it? I should be good I think.

i actually tried to screw my girl in my luv. it didn't work out in the cab but i got so frustrated i just bent her over tailgate
