My heater/vent fan only works on the HIGH setting, on the LOW setting the fan is dead.

Is it the fan, a relay, the switch or could it be something else? I want to fix this before the cold mornings/nights come my way.

Usually a bad resistor block assy. Follow the wires from the heater fan motor to a 2-4 wire plug on the heater housing plugged into resistor assy. Usually remove two screws, remove the thing from the housing and check very closely for an open or broken coil.
