Hi All, I've just acquired a 1981 LUV Diesel and don't have the owners
manual. Hence, I need some help on oil viscosities used in the 2.2 L
Diesel. I'm located in the SouthEast, so operating temp range will be
32 - 100 F.

Thanks

I'm sure this truck / engine is beyond synthetic! It's only good enough
to drive around the pasture. I'm needing the weight of oil, 10w-30
10-w40, SAE 30???

Thanks

the synthectic really doesnt work any better for cars that havent ran it from the start. so there really is no point unless you got a new engine. this coming from my cousin who is a mechanic. any truth to this i would like to know?
