Well I wasn't able to drive it home. They took the battery so I went and bought a new one. It fired up once it got enough gas in it. but they did something to the driveshaft I think. It wouldn't move at all. I could floor it but it still wouldn't move. So I had a tow truck bring it down to near my house.

It's an auto. The mechanic said the torque converter is toast. He thinks I may need a new tranny if metal went in the tranny. So now I'm trying to find parts and a cheaper mechanic.

Glad you got your truck.

I have an auto trans with the conv. If you know someone coming through the Medford, Or area with a truck tell em to swing by and it's yours.

Nice to see you got your truck back man. :D

I was at Lynwood pull a part recently and I removed a rear axle from a Luv with a automatic trans. It should still be there but I'd try calling them to make sure if you decide to go.
