 Post subject: Long bed 4x4

Has any one here converted a long bed in to 4x4. A long bed luv 4x4 would be cool

well the frames for the 2wd and 4wds are different. on athe 4wd the bottom control arm mounts in a differnt place then the 2wd. so it would be rally hard to use stock luv 4x4 part to do the swap. now you could put like a toyota solid front axle under the front end of a 2wd longbed. just hack off all the 2wd stock and figure out the steering. and probably put the rear leafs from a 4x4 luv under the back.

its could be done.

The longer the frame the less ground clearance for going over hills. If I have to explain that then keep your LUV on the asphalt.
