You can buy spray cans of undercoating. I have used it before, and it works pretty good.

the undercoating stuff is great, just make shure you tape off/cover up the areas you don't want undercoated (tranny, underside of engine). oh and make shre to wera gogggles and something over your mouth (those little paper particle dust catcher things) when you do decide to crawl uder your truck to undercoat it. That stuff taste like crap

Yeah, be sure to cover up your panels w/ some newspaper and painter's tape (or duct tape... it has more adhesive) and mask all you don't want it on, speacially your driveshaft... i'm not sure but it may throw it off balance.

I undercoated the front underside of my LUV and the rear wheel wells with a little under the floor mats (sprayed it over the bondo-filled holes in the floorboard)

I ruined a good ski jacket back in 1983 undercoating my 1/2 ton Chevy. It worked well, I put the truck up on a lift at my friends gas station. That stuff splattered a lot but it turned out o.k.

The under coating isnt smooth. It has a texture to it. You might think twice about it, unless you want the inside of your cab to have that look, plus I dont think you could paint over the under coating, so the inside of your cab will be a sorta brown/black color. :?

here is the link.
http://www.nonslipcoating.com/

these guys covered a whole jeep with this stuff. it is a rather industrial thing. it is used on oil rigs in the ocean cuz it is a no-slip formula. it has MANY uses. not too expensive either. it got good reviews against lava-liner. I might go for it one of these days in my luv.

I just realized you were talking about in the cab. My buddy sprayed his fire wall and fender wells on his 65 chevelle with what we call speckle paint. It was black with white splattered in it. It was kind of the thing to use before rhino lining and such. It has a rough texture and is pretty durable.

That speckle paint is quite durable. It used to be sprayed on the inside of aluminum boats. Don't know if it still is. Anyway, my little fishing boat has it inside, and I bought the boat 20 years ago and the paint is still protecting. Undercoating in spray cans comes in 2 configurations: Hard drying and soft drying. I've used the hard drying on the inside of fenders and floor boards and it works very well. Plus it protects battery wells and holders from corrosion.
