How Hot is too Hot. My truck runs around 190° to 195° 99% of the time. Last week with the weather above 100° it was running closer to 200° in traffic. Once I started moving it would drop back to the 190° to 195° range. Is this something I need to worry about. I just replaced the radiator last month.

Seems OK to me. As long as it doesn't get any hotter, and it did cool it self back down once you were moving.

I agree. It will run at the temperature the thermostat is set at. 195 is a common temperature setting of most thermostats today. The Luvs operated on a 180 deg thermostat OEM.

not sure of temp i still run stock gauges but i know mine is almost always right on the mark for stock temp. sometime slightly over when doing 70 but usually right on ... i also have no grill right now so i get plenty of cool air :lol:

Thanks for the quick response. On the ride to work this morning it ran right around 185°.
