It happened I got cought in the rain last night.
With no wipers and just rain-x. I got home but I have decided it is time to take the RatnLuv apart and do some finish work.
I need to pull the cab so I can finish the firewall and install the new trans. crossmember. I have put around 1,000 miles on it and the only thing I am thinking of changing is the fuel cell location. I had put it up by the cab because it fits best, but I am thinking of moving it to the very rear for traction. With the four link and 29x15.50 Mickey Thompsons it is still spins too much from a dead stop. I also feel that on the street the nitrous would be a waste and just cause more traction problems. It would probably be OK at the strip.
I hate to take it back apart because I am enjoying driving it but I need to get the firewall finished and a dash built so it will look more complete.I feel that it is on the downhill with most of the hard work done.
All of the wiring is just temporary and I am going to put as much as possible behind the seat for several reasons.#1 closer to the battery wich is behind the cab under bed on the passenger side.#2 limited dash space.#3 easier to get to just fold seat forward and you can get to everything.Fuse Box, Relays,MSD box, etc. #4 more room to space it out and make it look neater and easier to hide at the same time.
The dash I am still unsure about but have several ideas floating around in my empty head.
