It should be fun. So when will be the target test drive date?

I'm hoping to have it at the track by June sometime. We'll see how it works out. Depends on how motivated I stay lol.

You have a buildup thread for your truck? That looks like one bad ride! 8)

Torched the floors and firewall out and got a mock up motor/tranny sittin in it. Stuck the motor back so far that the front axle centerline cuts #1 and 2 cylinders in half and still leaves me a 1/4" from the back of the 750dbl pumper to the firewall. Gonna pick up some 20gauge this weekend and start puttin a floor/firewall together :) I still can't get over how short this thing is. 4'1" to the top of the roof 8) Will get some pics when there's something worth taking pics of.

MSD makes em for sure. NOT sure what the total cost is. The dist. itself is like $249, but I'd assume you have to run a crank trigger and a dummy shaft to complete it. With the set back you have, it'd sure make the install easier though.

Cut some more out of the bed to clear the tires. Still need to trim a little bit more but you get the idea.

I'll definitely be looking into this. You'd still have to have the shaft to drive the oil pump, but do you have to run coils on every plug with a crank trigger since there would be nothing spinnin the dizzy?

I'm pretty sure a belt turns the dizzy. If I can find a link I'll post it.

Depending on how you build your dog house you should be able to run the stock type dist. al though it will be tight. Also you can get low profile dist.caps and make it work.On my truck i did some checking a figured that a stock small cap dist. wold work as i have a 6" dog house and i would probably put an access door in anyway. I think i have some pic's as i think my motor is setting close to what you have .
