thinkin about backhalfing my truck suggestions on how much to narrow it and what size tires you all are running , i was thinking about 6 inches on both sides what size tires do you think i could run , or would 6 inches be a waste of time , any suggestions would be appreciated , and thanks in advance :D

Not sure how much my truck has been narrowed, will have to do measure. The tire size is 33x14x15.

this might sound gay but has anyone ever used sprint car tires , ive ran mccreary dirt tracs and they bight good

I knew a guy who had some dirt track tires on the back of his street/strip car (a Vega I believe), he said that they weren't too bad but didn't have the traction as drag slicks.

I took 2 1/2 out of each side and I run 295/50-15 on a 15x10 wheel

Not sure how much was taken out...but I'm running 24" wide frame and run 29X14.5 tires on a step side. They fit nice and allow the truck to sit low with good clearance all around.

My frame rails are narrowed 8".

Mine are 4'' on each side 8'' total. I run 28-10.5 with PLENTY of room a 12.5 would fit easily.

Actually yesterday was a historical day for this truck. It was the first time it has moved under its own power in over 9 years. I'm on the final stages of this project (Phase 1), just need to finish wiring it and bolt on the doors and front end. I did measure the tubs and it is narrowed 8" on each side....which seems to be the max standard.
