pre heat then drill a hole at the end of the crack if its was broke just stick weld it with a nickle based rod

I have also used stainless steel welding rods (they're less expensive) for welding cast iron but Nickel is definitely stronger.

nah i doubt it will even be close to driveable.

once i get the front bag setup done, rear link setup/bags, body/bed mounts.. truck will go back to shed for a while. then dads anglia will come to garage and i will redo his rear frame rails.

got cab on today.. frame clears the bottom of cab by like 1/2" easy.. will have room to run fuel lines on top of rails. woot. shitty blurry pics will do for now..

Today at work we printed a little magazine called STREET SEEN that has a lot of pics of bagged cars and trucks. It is a regional mag for the Houston area.

Now I know what "bagging" is... Image

got body squared up on frame, tubes cut, and tacked up onto frame.. they will have two more tubes per mount to make sure its good and rigid. i spaced cab up off frame 1/4". will have to trim pinch, or fold it over some so the entire weight of truck isnt sitting on it..

body mounts all welded up.. no pics as truck is on ground now.. tranny tunnel hacked out, motor sat in.. not positioned right yet. just stock in there to get a rough idea...

got the front clip all bolted up. a little more trimmed out of the tranny tunnel, motor pushed back some more. still might need to go back another 1/4" for oil pan/crossmember clearence. need an oil pan :(
